Local news says a new Marine in Iraq Arrested for killing his child SonFresno, CA. November 20, 2006. That's the fun of opening in the local news on my ABC affiliate, KFSN TV in Fresno, California, tonight. And the lead story on all local channels. A scary story and very sad indeed. A three-month-old, Roman, died this evening and his father is in jail after being arrested for Fresno, California, police said today. Roberto Quiroz, 20, was returning from his first tour in Iraq to request and receive custody of her young son a few months ago. After being accused of killing his son, was arrested at his apartment in northwest Fresno today. A neighbor ran home after seeing the police enter the area to make the arrest. The Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer stated that there was no altercation during the arrest. Bail was set at one million dollars. On Sunday, Quiroz called authorities after they said the baby had stopped breathing. The child was pronounced dead that night in a local hospital. Suffered from massive blunt force trauma to the head, according to local researchers. Quiroz was awarded custody after his wife suffered pregnancy complications and died in August. His wife and high school sweetheart, died of a brain aneurysm a few hours after giving birth to her son, Roman. The couple also had a 18-month daughter, Kylie. She was placed in child protective services after his father was arrested today. Police say it appears that Kylie was not harmed by his father. In September, Quiroz said he was overwhelmed with grief, both for his late wife and learning how to be a single parent with two children, especially her baby. Several weeks ago, Roberto Quiroz was placed under investigation for allegedly abusing his newborn son had suffered a broken arm. Doctors notified authorities after treating Roman baby in October. Child Protective Services took the child into custody, but released him back to Quiroz three days later even though he was still under investigation for possible child abuse. child welfare staff refused to comment on the case, but acknowledged they will do an internal investigation to determine why the child was released to his father. Marine Corps U.S. has refused to give Quiroz range and unity. He grew up in Caruthers. There is no indication one way or other help if Quiroz had received from the Marine Corps or other organizations related to military or non military to adapt to become a single parent with two small children immediately after the premature death of his wife. Tonight a child has died, possibly murdered by her father and a 18-month toddler confronts his father being in jail for allegedly killing her baby brother. Things you should know
Since the incident in Roswell, I could not go five feet in any direction in the U.S. without seeing, hearing or being abducted by aliens. Newspapers, radio, television, and yes, even the Weekly World News was struggling to prevent the alien invasion in the mainstream of our lives. Our belief and fascination with the little green men became a national pastime. Alien mythology has been woven into our past. Researchers began to remove the blanket of time and search for evidence that aliens were not a new phenomenon, but sought to show foreigners have been influencing the evolution of humanity from some of the earliest civilizations. The aliens have been credited with such amazing feats as lei lines in South America, the pyramids of Egypt, and even career as director Steven Spielberg. With E.T. havoc on the pop culture of the eighties, it seemed that nothing could stop the alien invasion of the world total. They were stealing cattle, stealing our rednecks, and worst of all they were stealing our box office with hits like MIB, and Independence Day. When New Year's bell tolls out the January 1, 2000, we watched and waited for the Y2K to end our technological age, some of us with supplies of canned ravioli decades. What we saw was the mark of a point to alien epidemic. Seven years have passed and people with each passing year we hear less and less about the alien crisis. We turn to superheroes, upset stomach mutilation films, television and karaoke. Livestock can sleep easy, the final sign has come. In the summer of 2007, we have seen the end of an era. The news magazine called the Weekly World News has printed its last edition. The source could have maintained a consistent and timely information of the supernatural in our world has stopped producing. This marked an end for me the little green men, known as the Extraterrestrial aliens. I doubt that just turned the mothership and headed around six vegan, but the only thing I think it's safe as a nation have changed the channel on foreigners. We have jumped into the back of our lives Tivo-ed as a program of home purchasing bad. During the next era of human existence foreigners can come and go, but never have the race was held and captivated the heart of America and the network of complete media. So where are the little green men gone?
